Positive Behavior Support or PBS is a system of school-wide supports that include proactive strategies that define, teach, and support appropriate student behaviors that create positive school environments.  This is done through a variety of strategies, lessons, and interventions.
One important piece of PBS is positive student ackowledgement.  Gardiner Middle School truly values the process of PBS and positively acknowledging our student's positive choices for behavior.  We do this through a variety of ways including drawings for prizes, certificates, celebrations and reward coupons (for items such as popcorn, front of lunch passes, student store items etc.).
Another thank-you goes to Oregon City United Methodist Church and Clackamas Federal Credit Union for their donations of school supplies.  These school supplies allowed students to have a smooth beginning of the school year.
